Temporary new venue for Sunday classes

Hi Everyone. Very quick post. We will be at Sneinton Hermitage Community Centre for tomorrow’s (Sun 5 Feb) Lindy Hop classes instead of St Christopher’s. Same times, same prices and just a few mins up the road. Please spread the word!! See you tomorrow:-) http://www.sneintonhermitage.org.uk

🌟There are no classes this Sunday 27 October but there’s still dancing and music because instead we’re all heading to the Hockley Hustle! 🎺This is a great live music festival taking over all the bars in Hockley, in the centre of Nottingham, each year where all the profits go to charity. This year there are more than 300 live acts playing in more than 30 locations. 📲You can find out more and buy your tickets/wristbands here for £17.60 (there are also ‘young hustler’ tickets avail to those of you with families at lower prices with different venue access) : https://hockleyhustle.co.uk . 🎸Live music galore: Almost every music style you can think of will be represented across the festival so check out the event list and take your pick. 🎺Of course that also includes Jazz and Swing which will mostly be hosted at Peggy’s Skylight on George Street, from 12.30pm to 11.30pm, although you will find other bands/ performances of interest across the festival. https://www.peggysskylight.co.uk/events/hockley-hustle-1 . 💃🕺Dancing in the street: As part of the event the lovely Rose and George from SwingIt have organised two open air dance sessions that we can all join in with. See details on pictures. It’s so much fun to dance in the streets so please do come and join us! . ⏰Regular Class schedule: Our regular Sunday Lindy Hop classes resume next Sunday 3 November. ALTERNATE VENUE FROM SUNDAY 17/3 to MONDAY 1/4! . Hello everyone! . Thankfully I’ve now been able to confirm that we will be at our alternate venue Sneinton Hermitage Community Centre from this Sunday 17 March 2019 through to Monday 1 April 2019 while our regular venue, St Christopher’s, takes its turn as hosts of the homeless shelter project. . The Hermitage is only 5 mins away from St Christopher’s, is on bus routes and has free on-street parking on the surrounding streets. . On Sundays we’ll be in the upstairs hall. Look for the open green door to the right hand side of the main glass entrance doors and come on upstairs. . On Mondays we’ll be in the downstairs room. .
