Our Solo Jazz class for the next few weeks will be focusing on THE BIG APPLE!
Tonight (Mon 2 Sept) we’ll be starting with looking at the Big Apple as the Social dance craze of 1937.
It’s essentially a fun, party dance where (after we’ve learned them) steps are called out for the dancers in a random order rather than being part of a routine.
In later weeks we’ll be moving on to The Keep Punchin’ choreography.
For those of you completely unfamiliar with the Big Apple Dance here’s a quick Wikipedia link to get you started.

More info will follow over the next few weeks.
This is a great time to start coming along to Jazz classes.
See you later 🙂
