Good news! Our first Solo (Vernacular) Jazz Dance Class, since restarting NLH last year, took place on Monday 18 September and it was a roaring success! So two more dates have been added on the third Mondays of the next two months:

🌟 Monday 16 October and Monday 20 November 2023 🌟

⏰ Classes will start at 8pm at our usual venue, 📍 St Christopher’s Church Hall, Trent Road, Sneinton, Nottingham.

⭐️ It’s an intro/ all levels class starting from the basics. No experience necessary. All welcome.

🎟️ £7pp on the door (card or cash)

☕️ Complimentary refreshments and 🚗 free on street parking parking with some spaces inside the gates too. 🚌 Easy bus route from town or grab an 🚲 e-bike or e-scooter.

📣 NEXT LINDY HOP CLASS DATES FOR OCTOBER !

After an amazing time at Calpe Swing Fiesta (check the socials for my ramblings on that 😂). I’m fully renewed and inspired to take us through our next blocks of classes this October.

📆 First class was on Sunday 8th, which was great fun and went really well, and our next will be on Sundays 15th, and 23rd. If you missed the first don’t worry. Come along and jump right in.

⏰- 5pm Foundations (suitable for beginners) – 6pm practice time for all – 6.30pm Improvers.

FRI 27 OCT: LATE NIGHT LINDY – HALLOWEEN SPECIAL with live music from The Rosa Duo

On Friday 27 October from 7:30pm, the incredible team of volunteers that bring us our Late Night Lindy social dance every month at Bunkers Hill, Hockley, Nottingham are really going to town for Halloween. Here’s what they have to say about it 👻…

This October hellraising, malevolent spirits have taken over, bringing a Halloween nightmare to Late Night Lindy. Come along… if you dare!

Featuring LIVE music from the swinging dark princes of Rosa Duo (more terrifying info to follow).

Wear your most terrifying creations and head down to Hell, better known as Bunkers Hill (Hockley, NG1 1FP), for a spooktacular night filled with screaming tunes and haunting dancing.

Passage is £5 regular, £4 student… or free in exchange for your soul. Find the Gatekeeper on the first floor of Bunkers Hill.

There’ll be a blood chilling beginners taster class from 7:30 to 8:15 – perfect to introduce you or any of your friends/victims to swingdance – followed by (un)social dancing.

Park your brooms on Gedling Street and Brook Street among other sinister side roads. There are some fiendish car parks too.
