Subscribe to our mailing list for updates on classes, social events and more

To be fair at the moment I’m very rarely sending emails so if you’re an email person sign up to follow the website (see below) and you’ll get an email each time I post.

📱 We also have a messenger community chat linked to our Facebook group which you access by first going to the NLH FB Page (see below), heading to the NLH FB group and looking in the ‘burger’ menu.

📱 And for those of you attending classes we gave a WhatsApp community too – so let me know if you want to be added to that once you’re attending classes

Other ways to follow NLH:

You can easily get to all our useful links to socials and the website via our linktree landing page here:

https://linktr.ee/nottinghamlindyhop

Or go direct to the socials and find us with these handles …

On Twitter (X) @nottmlindyhop

On Facebook our Page: www.facebook.com/nottinghamlindyhop

On Instagram @nottinghamlindyhop

On TikTok @nottinghamlindyhop

On Threads @nottinghamlindyhop

On YouTube @nottinghamlindyhop

⭐️ PLUS – Did you know that you can ‘follow’ this website and get 📧 email alerts when I add updates to the main page.

Look in the bottom left/right of the screen or the top left/right (depending on your browser or version – it’s there somewhere!). There should be a floating box or a menu option with ‘+ Follow’ written in it. There’s also a link in a blue box at top of the main web page on the right hand side above our address. Click this and follow the instructions – simples!

Hello there! Enjoyed the Lindy Hop session at the Malt Cross on Friday night. Is your class at 5.30pm on a Sunday open to new beginner members? Was hoping to join you tomorrow evening!
    Thanks, Emma

    • Hi Emma. Glad you enjoyed the class. I know I had a top night. I love Maniere des Bohemiens and it was lovely to be part of their album launch night. Anyway our Classes are run on a drop in basis and the 5.30 class is perfect for beginners. Just wear your comfy, ordinary street clothing, flat shoes that aren’t too grippy and come prepared to have a go and you’ll be fine :-). Note we have classes on 1 and 8 Feb but will be taking a break for 1 week on 15 Feb as we’ll all be taking part in NottingJam, a weekend event of workshops and socials at Nottingham University. Hope to see you tomorrow! Lisa

    Hi!
I´m interested in taking swing lessons. What should I do if I wanted to start this Sunday? Should I just pop or should I book the lesson in advance?

    Thanks!!
